Hi, I’m Erin!

Greetings, and welcome to my journey Who Am I? I am a single mom, adventurer, and believer in the power of resilience. Life has brought me through many challenges, but instead of letting them define me, I’ve decided to climb—literally and figuratively—to new heights. I’ve decided that life is too short, to continue to hide and let my goals pass me by. My ultimate goal? To conquer Mount Kilimanjaro with my daughter by my side and inspire others to rise above their own obstacles and embrace life fully.

What are those counters below – you might be asking??? I wanted a fun way to update my progress. If you follow me on social media you will see me mark off and track my progress. These little numbers might not seem like much on their own, but they are leading to something bigger: reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro. Plus – it’s a great reminder that progress, no matter how small, adds up to incredible results over time. So cheer me on, let’s watch those numbers soar.

Goals I’ve Crushed

Throughout my life I have always been on this “weight loss” rollercoaster. Although unlike most trying to lose that 10 – 20 extra pounds its been up 100lbs down 100lbs. I am done with that, this time it’s a lifestyle change. I have always had that mentality that “when I lose weight”. This changes now. I will no longer entertain that old version of me – this is my journey to become the woman who keeps her promise to her daughter and climbs a mountain.

Where is this Journey going?

This journey isn’t just about reaching the summit; it’s about showing myself (and my daughter) that big dreams are worth chasing, even if they make you sweat buckets along the way. Climbing Kilimanjaro is my way of saying, “Hey, life, you can’t scare me!” It’s about taking those dreams we’ve scribbled in notebooks and turning them into reality—or at least really good stories.

The climb is also part of a much bigger transformation. Over the past few years, I’ve shed 80 pounds, healed from past trauma, and learned to laugh at myself when life gets messy (which is often). I still have 80 pounds to go, but every step—on the mountain and in life—is a victory worth celebrating.
